Kids had lot of fun at KPS Kiddy's Diwali Party
Once again our young children from the Samaj and KPS Gujarati School thoroughly enjoyed their very own Diwali party.

The party started at 2.00 pm with all the excited children taking part in making Diwali cards, rangoli filled with beautiful coloured sand and painting and decorating their own book markers. The children also painted handmade tea light candle holders which some of the children used the next day at our main Diwali function.

Older children had also coloured four sequenced pictures of Rama and Sita from Ramayan. There was also an article written by one of our young members about her experience of Diwali festivities.

There was also a simple game of guessing how many fruit jelly bean in a tin.

Before Russell the Magician arrived there was short break for all the kids to enjoy party feast full of cheesy pizzas, pasta, sandwiches, chocolate biscuits and crisps.

The magician entertained the kids with plenty of his magical tricks including one with a real rabbit which the kids thought was really amazing. It was great to see the amazement on all these children’s faces. He finished his entertainment by showing them how to make different shapes with balloons and giving each child a balloon to take home.

More than 60 children attended this KPS Children’s Party which was a great success and lots of fun.

We would like to thanks all the mothers and volunteers who helped with this party and also thanks to all the children for attending and for being such wonderful  VIP’s.
